The Leader in Training Program is ideal for employees who have recently been promoted to a management position, regardless of level, as well as for managers who wish to consolidate a key skill. In 8 focused 30-minute sessions spread over 3months and scheduled according to your availability, you will work in a targeted manner on one of the 6 key leadership skills in the federal public service. Whether it’s mobilization, collaboration, innovation, achieving results, strategic vision, or values and ethics, you’ll gain concrete tools to help you in your daily work.

Content

The program includes:

8 individual coaching sessions (30 minutes each) over 3 months, scheduled according to your availability
A personalized assessment to identify the key leadership skill you want to develop
Concrete actions to put into practice between sessions
Tailored strategies adapted to your current challenges (motivation, conflicts, priorities, decision-making)
Helpful resources (articles, exercises, practical suggestions) based on your needs
Follow-up via email to support your progress between meetings

Teaching Method

Targeted executive coaching: each session is short, impactful, and focused on a specific goal
Skills-based approach: direct work on one of the six key leadership skills in the Canadian public service
